I think its total and complete, ok, maybe to a certain BIG extent, that it is complete and total bullshit when someone comes and tell me "I'm a professional. I don't mix personal emotions with my work." Yeah right.

Realised this through the events and work...ya i know i haven't been treating the ang moh very fairly from her first day till now but i was nice to her yst ok...said hi and share whatever tt happen during the 2 days when she wasn't around. ask her to help me coach the new trainee cos i gt an unexpected half day off yst. looking at her reminds me of the days back at tcc...yeah, i was a complete bastard or bitch or whatever you want to call it then...i feel tt if you generally like someone, you will teach her all the things tt can be learned, share with her everything...but if you don't like her, you probably teach her the minimum and then tt's it. even if you teach her more, she don't get the chance to practice...seeing the ang moh just reminds me of the times where i wanted to learn bar at tcc but they told me stuff like who am i working with on the day la, the schedule tt i give la, whether the manager will be free to guide you or not la...yeah right...

believed it at first cos im still having sch...but when it comes to the holidays? when i give anytime as my timing? did i get it? NO...gt closing shift all the time...and ppl who came after me gt to learn bar! guess what? She is the small little cute girl that everybody likes. the thgt tt came to my mind then was why shld i be so hardworking on the floor if i dont get to learn bar?might as well i just slack my way thru...we get the same pay also wat...yeah right, my schedule don fit la, i nd ppl to help me take care of the floor outside la...dont like me, dont want to teach me just say la ok...

another classic example, the HOB then was v close with another part timer then...and guess wat? she knows everything...and i mean EVERYTHING...right down to the manager's work...and cos of this, she is a manager right now with the help of the HOB then. does the other old part timers know what she know? NOPE...big and Fat NOPE...

so dont come telling me tt you dont mix your emotions with your work...no matter how professional you are, there will still be a certain percentage that you do...if you really think tt you are fair to everyone at work, even to the one that you dislike, prove it to me and i ll believe...
